This is a collaborative project between Sweden and Nepal. It has two main objectives which will be pursued as a part of the ongoing Linguistic survey of Nepal. It Includes: 1. Documentation of an endangered language Lohorung and 2. Completion, organization and description of features of the Nepali spoken language corpus. 1. Lohorung language documentation Nepal is listed for 126 individual languages and 2 with unknown speakers. The Lohorung language is a severely endangered language. Lohorung needs to be documented.
